Reply to the Bonnie Blue Flag song sheet
An undated sheet with lyrics titled "Reply to the Bonnie Blue Flag" and claimed to be "composed by a Federal officer while a prisoner", was published by the pro-Unionist Memphis Bulletin newspaper during the Civil War.
"The Bonnie Blue Flag" was a marching song promoting the Confederate cause written in 1861.

Speech: Walter Chandler at Greater Memphis State, Inc., 1956
Pamphlet containing an address given by Memphis attorney and former mayor Walter Chandler to the 5th annual meeting of Greater Memphis State, Inc., on November 14, 1956. In his speech, Chandler urged more support for Memphis State College by the Tennessee Legislature but suggested the rivalry and inequality between the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and MSC could be eliminated by having the two campuses operate under the University of Tennessee umbrella.
