An undated tintype of Charles Griffin Stanton (1870–1968), the surviving son of Griffin Augustus Stanton (1835-1889) and his wife Julia Ann(e) Levada Amburn Stanton (1842-1890) of Johnson County, Illinois. The tintype is from Griffin's Bible and is identified on the back.
