Letter to "Shorty" from Carlise, 1918 January 23
Handwritten letter from Carlise to someone nicknamed "Shorty", presumably Mary Ardenne Hinson. The letter is written on Seymour A. Mynders Club letterhead. Carlise apologizes for a long gap in correspondence and ends the letter with a poem:
"Oh, my Beloved, fill the Cup that clears To-day of Past Regrets and Future Fears To-morrow! - Why To-morrow I ___ to Myself with Yesterday's Seven Thousand Years." -
