A photograph of Samuel Reid Johnson’s lumber company at 3569 Southern, Memphis, possibly taken around 1942. Edith Johnson Smith is standing by the door. The company was owned by John Wright Johnson until his death on November 12, 1941, when it was taken over by his son.
