Description
In 1928, John Wright Johnson modeled the design for a dining table and chairs from a set brought from England by R.M. Carrier for his home. The table is made of solid oak pieces and constructed without the use of nails or screws. There are eight chairs carved to match the table. The chairs include a larger host chair with arms and a hostess chair which is taller than the four side chairs. The set was hand carved by Johnson and Leo Barthol.
