Description
Letter to Rowena Woollard from Jim Hall, Orange County, Virginia, August 6, 1863. Informs Mrs. Woollard that her husband, Captain L. Guy Woollard, has been captured and is a prisoner-of-war and probably held at Johnsons Island. Hall was probably a sergeant in Woollard's company. Rowena died before Woollard returned home.
