Description
Memphis Technical High School ROTC Lieutenant Marvin Luther Spruill salutes the memory of his uncle and namesake at the Doughboy statue honoring those who died serving in World War I in Overton Park, Memphis, on November 10, 1939. Spruill served as a captain in the U.S. Army Air Forces and died in 1971.
