Description
A young girl sits on top of a man's shoulder to get a better view of the Carnival procession. Carnival in Grenada, also known as Spice Mas, is celebrated every August. People celebrate with elaborate traditional costumes, parades, and music. Photograph was taken by Mary Ruth Robinson and featured in “The African Connection: Images from the Americas” exhibition in 1991.
