Description

Carnival in Grenada, also known as Spice Mas, is celebrated every August. People celebrate with elaborate traditional costumes (such as the one shown), parades, and music. Photograph was taken by Mary Ruth Robinson and featured in “The African Connection: Images from the Americas” exhibition in 1991.
