Description
Illustrations titled "Scenes in Southern Tennessee and Mississippi", sketched by an officer of the Army of the Mississippi, published on page 589 of "Harper's Weekly" in its September 13, 1862, issue. The five illustrations are: "Eastport Landing on Tennessee River, Miss.", "Rail-Road Station at Trenton, Tenn.", "Station and Hotel at Humboldt, Tenn.", "Rail Road Bridge near Humboldt, Tenn., destroyed by the rebels", and "Iuka, Miss.".
