Description
Illustrations of Fort Pillow, Tennessee, published on page 37 of "The Illustrated London News" in its July 12, 1862 issue. The two illustrations are titled “Portion of the Water Batteries at Fort Pillow, on the Mississippi, After the Evacuation – Looking Up the River" and “Main Battery at Fort Pillow, on the Mississippi, Evacuated by the Confederates on the 5th of June.”
