Description

That's the slogan Mrs. Phoebe Fairgrave Omlie, noted woman pilot, (right), and Miss Stella Akin, (left), are bringing to Binghamton, New York for a Democratic rally in the Hotel Arlington, under auspices of the local Democratic Organization" from the newspaper article, "In Flying Campaign for F.D.R.", The Binghamton Press, 1936 September 17.
Mrs. Omlie is one of the outstanding women flyers in the country and is piloting a Ranger Fairchild monoplane. Miss Akin was appointed a special assistant to the attorney general and is the first southern woman to hold an important position in the Department of Justice.
