Description

Vol. 11, No. 1, Section 2 of "The Phyllis Schlafly Report" published in Alton, Illinois, in August 1977. This edition of the newsletter focused on the wasted money for, and the unrepresentative nature of, the state conferences and forthcoming national conference sponsored by the national Commission on International Women's Year. Also included is a copy of Vol. 11, No.5, Section 2 published in December 1977 that reported on the national conference in Houston and the Pro-Family Rally held in opposition to it at the same time. Shirley Curry's role in organizing the Tennessee contingent to the rally is mentioned.
