Description

Letter to William Goodman from Jerry Foley thanking him for his assistance and keeping ticket sales up during the crisis surrounding the Beatles' 1966 Memphis concert.

The letter gives details that Memphis' City Commission wanted to cancel the concert following remarks made by John Lennon that they were bigger than Jesus Christ in March of that year.
