Description

Program of the commencement exercises for Sloan-Hendrix Academy held on June 1-4, 1909. Sloan-Hendrix Academy was established in Imboden, Arkansas, in 1899, in association with Hendrix College in Conway, and with funding from local businessman W.C. Sloan. From 1906, it was supported by the Methodist Episcopal Church South but it was never financially self-sufficient and, despite moving to a new campus in 1923, it closed in 1931.
