Description
"Metro" magazine published by the Metropolitan Collegiate Athletic Conference, 1981.
The Metro tournament was played at the Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, Tennessee, March 4-6, 1982. Memphis State University had a bye in the first round and defeated Virginia Tech 71-70 in the semifinal. The Tigers defeated the University of Louisville in the championship game, 73–62, to win their first Metro tournament.
