Cover Story, "Cheers to Our champs" by Greg Russell

It is a tradition that began in 1987. The University of Memphis pom and cheer squads have established themselves as the best of the best, winning multiple national championships, more than any other team during that period. This year was no different as the cheer squad took home the national title with a stellar performance at the Universal Cheerleaders Association’s spirit squad championships in Orlando, Fla., in January.
