Description
Memphis State College basketball supporters at Madison Square Garden, New York City, on March 23, 1957, during the National Invitation Tournament. Memphis Mayor Edmund Orgill is holding the left corner of the flag. MSC played St. Bonaventure that day. MSC was runner up to Bradley in the tournament, losing 83-84 in the final.
