Description
Program for the 27th commencement of West Tennessee State Teachers College at Memphis, Tennessee, held at the college auditorium on June 3, 1939. Includes the program of the dedication of the John Willard Brister Library earlier that morning. The library was completed ten years before but was named after Brister who was president of the school from 1913 to 1918 and from 1924 to his death on September 9, 1939.
