Description
Teaching diploma issued to Ruth Stanfield by the West Tennessee State Normal School in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 5, 1918. Mary Ruth Stanfield was born on September 22, 1894, the daughter of Edward Alpheus and Roberta Ridgeway Stanfield. She taught at Memphis Technical High School for many years. She died in Memphis on May 27, 1994.
