Description
Two unidentified men and one unidentified woman standing on Stells Big Medicine Co. stage. The woman and one of the men are dressed in native inspired clothing. Location unknown, date unknown. Medicine Shows, popular between 1850 and 1930 in the United States, were traveling groups selling miracle cures, elixirs and specially formulated tonics. Performers and entertainers kept the audience engaged while the “doctor” sold his product.
