U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, aerial photograph (No. 55682), looking west, of Presidents Island, Tennessee, November 20, 1951. Photographer: Doris E. Willis. Riverside Park is bottom left, South Parkway is between the park and the Ford assembly plant on the bottom right, and President's Island lies beyond. The closure dam is in the middle right. The H.C. Sinclair Company bulk fuel terminal would be built on the reclaimed area in the center of the image.
