Herzberg, Leo Goldsmith (1884-1954), Mrs. Sylvan Newman (Baltimore), Fred Goldsmith (1879-1942). Photographer: Ritz Studio, 627 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. Sophia, Elias, Fred, and Leo were Jacob and Dora Goldsmith’s children.
Jacob Goldsmith's store in Memphis, Tennessee, was one of the major stores in the city during the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Goldsmith's became part of the Macy's chain in 1988.
