Description
James Henry Malone seated in his 11th floor office in the Exchange Building, Memphis, Tennessee, circa 1910. James Henry Malone (1851-1929) was the mayor of Memphis from 1905 to 1910. He shared a legal office in the Exchange Building, overlooking Court Square, with his younger brother Walter Malone, a Shelby County Circuit Court Judge. Malone also authored “The Chickasaw Nation: A Short Sketch of a Noble People” in 1919.
