Description
Vol. 3, No. 7 of the "Memphis Chamber of Commerce Journal" published in Memphis, Tennessee, in August 1920. The journal contained news of the Chamber's activities and about the business community of the Memphis area. This issue promoted the Seventh Annual Convention of the Cotton States Merchants Association. There was also an article on the advantages of having a college athletics program in the city that featured photographs of the men's and women's basketball teams from Southwestern Presbyterian University at Clarksville, Tennessee. The Chamber supported the proposed move of Southwestern to Memphis.
