"This third offering, like the others, is designed to provide minivacations for area residents. There are 10 new treks in this book. Each trip can make an easy three-day weekend, with most designed for a Saturday and Sunday getaway. Most call for less than a half-day's driving. The areas recommended are rich in history, scenic beauty and places to have a good time and enjoy recreation and entertainment."
