    Description

    Program of the first season of the Memphis Music Festival held under the auspices of the Beethoven Club at the Auditorium on East Madison Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, April 25-27, 1910. The five concerts featured noted soloists including soprano Mrs. Rider Kelsey, contraltos Tilly Koenen and Janet Spencer, tenor Daniel Beddoe, bass Marion Green, violinist Fritz Kreisler, violoncellist Bruno Steindel and pianist Yolande Mero. Frederick A. Stock conducted the Theodore Thomas Orchestra.
