Description
Election pamphlet titled “The Democratic Citizens of Clarksville and Montgomery County Appeal to the Democratic Citizens of Tennessee to support Austin Peay for nominee of the Democratic Party for Governor” published in 1918. Peay lost the primary election but won the Tennessee gubernatorial election in 1922 and served until his death in 1927.
