A payroll document of Freed-Laborers employed on President's Island, Memphis, TN, 1865 March 31. It lists the laborer's name, number of days worked, price per day, amount paid, and witness signatures. The witness signature for the workers was Captain T. A. Walker, Superintendent of Freedmen West Tennessee.
