Handwritten document of family genealogy by Scott C. Harrison. This was pasted into his Bible, undated. On the back is an article clipping about Harrison and Sadie D. Johnson obtaining a marriage license in August 1913. It noted: "No sooner had clerk Glen laid down his pen than Scott C. Harrison of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Miss Sadie D. Johnson, of West Chester, climbed the short flight of stairs leading into the office. They also blushingly requested a marriage license".

She was born in Baltimore and was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Marie Eulalie LaCoste Pochon, who fled from the Island of San Domingo, in the West Indies, at the time of the slave uprising, under Toussaint L’Ouverture, a century ago".
