Description

Vehicles using the roadway to Arkansas attached to the Harahan Bridge at Memphis, Tennessee, May 28, 1949. Photographer: George Pierce. The Frisco Bridge is visible to the right, and the soon-to-be-opened Memphis and Arkansas Bridge can be seen on the far right. The latter would replace the Harahan for vehicular traffic. 1938 and 1941 views of the east-bound lane are included.
