Description
Former roadway on the Harahan Bridge looking east to Memphis, Tennessee, June 1967. Photographer: Fred Payne. Vehicular traffic stopped using the bridge in 1949 when the Memphis & Arkansas Bridge opened and the wooden road surface was removed, as is evident in the February 1956 photograph included.
