Description
Poplar Tunes, located at 308 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, was founded by Joe Cuoghi and John Novarese in 1946. At Pop Tunes customers could listen to records in the store before buying them. Elvis Presley was known to hang out there to see who was listening to his music.
