Mounted photograph of Richard P. Lake in United Confederate Veterans' uniform riding a horse on Pontotoc Street, Memphis, Tennessee, in 1913. The inscription reads: "Compliments of Richard P. Lake, Asst. Adjt. Gen. UCV. Mounted on 'Whitney', descendent of Forrest's Cavalry 3 strains, Federal Cavalry 1 strain. May 1913".
