Description
Dr. Cecil C. Humphreys, president of Memphis State University, talks to student demonstrators beside the flagpole in front of the Administration Building in May 1970. Students wanted to fly the flag at half-mast to commemorate the killing of students at Kent State University on May 4, 1970.
