Description
1986 print by Betty Malone depicting Memphis State University (Memphis, Tennessee) mascot TOM the Tiger consulting a book titled "The Joy of Metro Cooking" with unhappy rival team mascots as trophies. MSU was the Metro Conference Men's Basketball champion in 1985.
The print was signed by Malone and inscribed: "Sharon, Thanks for all your help during the year, Coach Johns, 4/9/91". The print was donated by Sharon Peterson, a student who worked as a film person during the 1990-1991 year for the women's basketball team coached by Mary Lou Johns.
